FAQ

Are Toe Separator Socks for me?

Healthy feet should be a priority for everyone as the are the platform for you whole body.  Toe separator socks help to maintain good foot health by preventing the harmful effects of fashion shoes, sport strain and other stresses on your Feet.  They are able to achieve this by realigning your toes and releasing stress throughout the foot.  These simple corrections can help to reduce or eliminate pain, affect how you walk, and that carries through to your knees, hips, back and neck.  Remember it is easier to stay healthy than to regain your health.

What size should I order?

Sizing is based on shoe size, not sock size.

Small Size - Unisex 4-6 = Women's 4-6, Men's 2-4 EU 35-38
Medium Size - Unisex 7-9 = Women's 7-9, Men's 5-8 EU 39-42
Large Size - Unisex 10-13 = Women's 10-13, Men's 9-12 EU 43-46
Extra Large Size - Unisex 14+ = Women's 14+, Men's 13+ EU 47+ (Charcoal Only)

Foot alignment socks are stretchy so they will accommodate a range of overlapping sizes. For instance if you have a very wide or thick women's size 6, we would recommend a Medium, or if you have a thin women's 10, then the medium would also be your choice.

What materials are the socks made from?

Socks are 90% cotton, 7% Polyester and 3% Elastane.

The spacers are the same materials as the socks themselves.

How long should I wear them?

In the beginning you should wear them daily for at least 15 minutes or as long as they are comfortable. A slight discomfort is OK, but they should not be painful. Just elevate your feet and relax. Gradually you will be able to extend the length of time. Depending on your feet, you may or may not be able to wear them overnight. When they start to bother you, remove them.

What should I do when my feet keep hurting after I put the socks on?

It depends in what condition your feet are in. When your feet are too painful, the corrective action of the socks could be uncomfortable for a while. Start very slowly and if after a week or two the pain persists you are most likely in need of more extensive foot care, please consult a Podiatrist.

Can I walk in these socks?

Foot Alignment Socks are not designed for walking. Of course you can walk in them across the room, but they are most effective in a relaxed position when feet have no stress or pressure on them – i.e.. sitting, lying down or sleeping. and should not be worn with shoes.

How long should I wear these socks before I notice improvement in my feet?

It depends on what kind of improvement you are expecting. Your feet should feel better after the first week of wearing the socks. For example, you will still have the bunion, but you may feel better and have less pain, but the bunion did not form quickly, and may take time to improve.

I am a diabetic, can I wear these socks?

Off-White is recommended but please consult your doctor before you do. Our colored line of socks may be fine for you if you do not suffer from dye allergies.  Just be sure to watch your circulation.

How should I wash these socks?

Foot Alignment Socks are machine washable cool and tumble dry at low temperature, so for best results air dry is recommended.

Hammer Toes - How do foot alignment socks help?

The socks have soft dividers which go in between toes and gradually push the crooked toe in to its proper place, creating a space in between toes. Of course this is a slow process. You have to be consistent and wear the socks daily at least 20-30 minutes minimum. Once you get used to wearing the socks you will be able to keep them on over night to obtain the maximum effect with faster results.
